The Ohio Transitions Developmental Disabilities (TDD) Waiver Providers-
An email was generated to further clarify the Compliance Review
requirements for TDD providers since the move of regulatory oversight to
DODD, which became effective January 1, 2013.
The Structural Review, once completed by Care Star,  has been replaced
with the DODD Compliance Review.  This new review process will be
conducted by the Office of Provider Standards and Review.
A DODD Compliance review is a requirement for all providers of TDD
waiver services.  This includes, but may not be limited to providers who bill
the following service codes:

Registered Nurse (RN) - T1002

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the direction of an RN - T1003

Compliance Reviews for Agency Providers will be scheduled individually
with said providers throughout 2013.

Compliance Reviews for Independent Providers are scheduled throughout
the state in March, April and May 2013.  Each session is open to 50
participants.  Providers will choose a date/time to participate from the
available options.  Providers are not restricted to have their review in their
region only.  They can register for any date or location that fits their
schedule.

Sign up on the DODD Website https://reg.prodapps.dodd.ohio.
gov/REG_Main.asp.  The Independent Provider Review dates are listed on
this webpage, that’s most often used for DODD training opportunities.
However, the completion of a Compliance Review is a REQUIREMENT.
It is not optional.  Advance notice, as well as various review locations and
times within the five TDD regions of the state (see below), have been
included to allow for all providers to sign up.

The required documents needed for the Compliance Review will be sent to
participants that register.
Here is the current review schedule with dates, times and locations.
